A lovely walk of two distinct halves. We start by walking along the coastal path with sweeping clifftop views - a few ups and downs on this section! Half way round we stop for lunch at Ravenscar where there is a small National Trust visitors centre with cafe and toilets.
The second half of the walk follows the Cinder Track, the old railway line, gradually downhill back to Cloughton. This is a nice, easy section after the challenges of the cliffs in the morning. Hopefully the old station cafe will be open at Cloughton for refreshments when we finish the walk.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
