Description:
A moderate walk through the woods on the edge of the moors. Starting from Wass, we head up through Snever Woods, we loop round to have lunch on the fine village green at Kilburn, and then back to Wass past the magnificent ruins of Byland Abbey.
Parking arrangements:
There is a small car park at the village hall with an honesty box.
Catch the bus from York - Reliance 31X from Station Avenue at 0900. Return bus from Wass at 1512. https://reliancebuses.co.uk/service-31x/.
