This walk does not require pre-booking.
A beautiful walk packed with stunning views across the North Yorkshire Moors.
Starting in Chop Gate we follow good paths over Cold Moor up to the Wainstones for lunch with a view. We then make our way over Hasty Bank and then walk the tops Urra Moor and through woodland back to our start point.
Some points of the walk are a bit boggy so walking boots are recommended. The walk is hilly but rewarded with long stretches of walking the high points.
The walk is suitable for dogs but please keep them on lead as there are ground nesting birds along the way.
There is a pub, The Buck Inn, close to the car park at the end offering refreshments for anyone who would like to join after the walk.
Parking arrangments:
Park in the Chop Gate Car Park - £2 pay and display.
