Description:
This walk does not require pre-booking.
A walk out along the river Rye, over the Howardian Hills down into Stonegrave. Here we will visit Stonegrave Minster before a short climb onto Caulkleys Bank for views over Ryedale. We then walk back along the river passing the 18 century flour mill and the exquisite Nunnington Hall owned by the National Trust, making it back in time to visit The Old Yard Coffee Shop (if open).
An easy going walk with only a handful of stiles and two steady climbs.
Parking arrangments:
Street parking around the village. Please park considerately.
