Description:
This walk does not require pre-booking.
Starting from the car park we will go through the high street to the museum and then follow the footpaths to Newbridge crossing before going through Haugh Wood. After the Rifle Range we will follow the Howl to Yatts Farm and then join Ruddings Road to Farwath Crossing. From Farwith Crossing we will traverse Cross Dale to Fox & Rabbit Farm before dropping to High Dalby and following the road to the footpath to Kingsthorpe Common. The path is then the reverse of the Thornton le Dale walk until we reach Howl Dale Wood where we follow the track to the car park.
Parking arrangments:
Park in the Eastgate Car Park - £6 all day.
