Description:
With Government restrictions easing, we have increased the maximum number of places available on this walk to 40 but we still require you to book in advance through Eventbrite.
A gentle 4.5 mile walk around Strensall. We start by leaving Strensall and walk across fields (which contain livestock) before coming out onto a track. We walk on the road for a couple of minutes, follow well trodden paths and cross the railway line before returning to Strensall along the river.
After the walk we can visit the Ship Inn which has beer garden and may be serving food when we return (please check with the pub beforehand if you want to eat to confirm their kitchen will still be open when we return at approximately 8pm).
This walk is not suitable for dogs due to the young livestock in the fields.
Parking arrangements:
On street so please allow enough time to find a space and be considerate of residents. Be prepared for a short walk to the meeting point.
