IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This walk is limited to 20 places (including the walk leader), these MUST be booked in advance through Eventbrite. Anyone who has not booked a place will not be allowed on this walk. See the Ramblers guidelines for info on taking part in our walks.
Starting from Top Lane Plantation we traverse to Woodhouse Lane then join the Kirklees Way for a short section until we're under the shadow of the impressive Emley Moor transmitter and then onto Emley village where we join Frank Lane to Clayton West.
From here we go through some potentially muddy fields to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to admire the current works of art. A possible stop for refreshments at the café here depending on the crowds. The final part of the walk is up the impressive avenue back to the Top Lane Plantation.
