A lovely 10.5 miles circular walk through the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. Leaving the village we follow a track and then field paths, passing through Wold House Farm with its lifelike bronze statue of its former foreman. We head downhill through the wooded Tundale and through the grassy valley of Frendal dale and eventually pick up the Minster Way, which we follow to Huggate. We walk through the village and then follow the Wolds Way to Holm Dale and finally back to Fridaythorpe.
This walk has beautiful views of classic Wolds scenery and is therefore undulating at times. There is likely to be livestock in the fields we pass through so dogs must be kept on a lead.
Parking arrangements:
On street parking parking in Back Street. Please park on the opposite side of the road to the duck pond and also with consideration to the residents. If you feel comfortable to do so, please consider car sharing.
