IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This walk is limited to 20 places (including the walk leader), these MUST be booked in advance through Eventbrite. Anyone who has not booked a place will not be allowed on this walk. See the Ramblers guidelines for info on taking part in our walks.
A gentle start to this walk as we go around Scar House Reservoir, before we climb up onto the wild and rugged moors around the head of the dale and then dropping down into Lofthouse. The return journey takes us past the popular canyoning spot of How Stean Gorge, and then a long climb to Middlesmoor and up onto the moor takes us to the end of the walk.
Toilets available at the start of the walk and about 2/3 of the way round.
Unfortunately due to the length of the walk, it is unlikely that the café will be open when we finish.
