Description:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This walk is limited to 20 places (including the walk leader), these MUST be booked in advance through Eventbrite which will be available the week leading up to the walk. Anyone who has not booked a place will not be allowed on this walk. See the Ramblers guidelines for info on taking part in our walks.
Starting from the Wilderness car park in Wetherby we will track along the Riverside path to Collingham before crossing at Linton Bridge and heading west towards Wood Hall Hotel.
We then head to Sicklinghall, some parts of this section of the walk can be muddy underfoot in any weather. From Sicklinghall we will travel on a track through Stockeld Park estate before crossing the Harrogate to Wetherby road at Stockeld Grange.
We will then join the former railway line Sustrans route that will take us back into Wetherby.
Parking arrangements:
Park at the Wilderness FREE car park, from the bridge across the River Wharfe turn right at the mini roundabout and drive down the narrow one-way road.
