🥾 8 miles 🥾 Circular 🥾 Leisurely 🥾 Walk Leader: Joe L
This 8-mile circular walk is ideal for first-time joiners. It's almost completely flat, with just two short 5% gradients, and should remain largely mud-free thanks to a mix of quiet country roads (around 60%) and well-maintained footpaths. There are only two B-road crossings, and toilets are available at the pub at the end of the walk.
Highlights include three beautiful churches, riverside scenery, and excellent views of the chalk White Horse, where we'll stop for a short snack break.
There will be no formal lunch stop, as we'll aim to arrive at The Anchor for a carvery social at around 1:00 pm.
⚠️ If you'd like to join us for the carvery, please book and pay in advance using the link below. The cost is £15.95 per adult, with generous portions and vegetarian and pescatarian options available. Please book by 24th October. Group booking is required, you wont be able to join on the day.

🚻 Toilets available at the pub at the end of the walk.
🚫🥪 As a Carvery Social follows this walk there is no lunch stop.
⚠️🐶 Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, although there will be livestock, and a couple of stiles near the end of the walk. Note, if you are also on the Carvery social, dogs are not allowed in the pub.
