Description:
A leisurely evening walk around Beverley. Starting from the Market place we head to the Westwood to enjoy the large open space and great views back over to Beverley and East Yorkshire.
After doing a loop on the Westwood we head towards the town centre where we pass the Minster and end up back at market square.
Free parking after 6pm in Saturday Market, Beverley, HU17 8AA – or in Flemingate multi-storey (payment required), which is about a 10 minute walk from the meeting point. The start of the walk is near the bus station and half a mile from the railway station. Dogs are welcome on the walk but must be on a lead at all times, as there are grazing cattle on the Westwood. After the walk we can enjoy refreshments at one of the local pubs.
