Enjoy an evening stroll along the old trainline to the beautiful village of Goodmanham.

This walk is just over 3 miles. Meet at the start of the Hudson Way, Market Weighton at 6.30pm. Walk along the nicely shaded old trainline whilst enjoying a chat. After around 1.5 miles we will head up the road to Goodmanham. This requires climbing a small hill. As we head through Goodmanham, we will pass the Goodmanham Arms pub where we will return after the walk. As we leave Goodmanham, we will follow the footpath across fields and back onto the old trainline where our walk ends.

🪧Meet at the start of the Hudson Way - near to Aspen Close Play Park, Hall Road, Market Weighton, YO43 3BA

🅿️ Market Hill Car Park (free) or you can park along Spring Road and cut through the snicket onto the trainline.

🚻 There are public toilets near Market Hill Car Park 

🚌The X45 bus departs from York and goes to Market Weighton and the X47 bus operates a return service in the evening. Each journey is just over an hour in length. There are also bus services operating from Hull but the journey is around 1hr 30 mins going to Market Weighton.

🐶 Dogs are very welcome on this walk.
