This is a leisurely walk from Knaresborough. The walk starts at Conyngham Hall and follows the river out until we briefly join the Harrogate Ringway. From the Ringway, we join the Knaresborough round and then the follow this past the golf course and through farm fields back to Knaresborough. We return to the car park via the river front.

🪧Conyngham Hall Car Park, 52 Bond End, Knaresborough HG5 9AX 

🅿️The car park is free after 6 pm.

🚻Unfortunately, there are no toilets at the start of the walk, as these are closed before 6 pm.

🐶The walk is dog friendly but dogs must be kept on the lead at all times, as we cross pasture land where live stock may be turned out and there are some areas on the walk which are designated to wildlife. 

Please note there are few stiles on the walk so if you bring your dog you may need to lift them over.

🚌 Knaresborough has a train station so it is possible to get a train from York or Leeds. It is approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station to the start of the walk. See below for Train details:

York departure time -17:45; Knaresborough arrival time: 18:12.

Return options to York: 20:51, 21:21 and 22:22.

Leeds departure time - 17:36 train; Knaresborough arrival time -18:21

Return options to Leeds: 20:41, 21:40 and 22:40.
