A moderate to slightly strenuous walk via the Gliding Club, through Pocklington town then climbing up out of Pocklington and following the chalkland way to Great Givendale (St Ethelburga's church) before taking in part of the Minster Way at Millington. There is a short but steep climb after Millington but we will take it steady. After admiring the views and passing near to Kilnwick Percy hall, we will descend back down to Pocklington via KP golf club. There are great views of the Wolds and across over the Humber on a clear day.

🚌 X46 bus from Hull at 09:05 and Beverley at 09:43, and from York at 09:40, and the gliding club is a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop by the Shell garage

🚻 There are toilets available at the gliding club

🐶 The walk is suitable for dogs on a lead, although there are a few small stiles

🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
