A lovely walk hopefully taking some of the seasons autumn colours 🍂

Leaving Swainby we head out across the fields to Arncliffe wood, through the woods we climb up to meet the Cleveland Way. We follow the Cleveland way over Scarth Wood Moor to Scugdale. From there we head round Whorl Hill before heading back to Swainby via Whorlton Castle.

🥾 This walk can be muddy in places, so wear appropriate boots

🐶 Dogs are welcome but should be kept on a lead

🚻 There are toilets at the start of the walk

🅿️ There is plenty of on-street parking on High Street and outside the church in Church Lane – please be respectful of locals when parking

🍺 There is a pub and a café for refreshments after the walk

🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
