A lovely walk exploring some of York's green spaces.
Leaving Cherry Lane we head over Hob Moor and Little Hob Moor, crossing on to the Knavesmire by the Tyburn. We make our way over to the river and follow it to the edge of Bishopthorpe, then make our way back to the start via Knavesmire Woods.
The riverside path can be muddy after rain.
🅿️ Parking at the car park at the end of Cherry Lane, or opposite the Holiday Inn on Cherry Lane
Do not park in the Holiday Inn car park
🚌 Regular buses from York city centre, get off at by the Marriott Hotel (4) or Holiday Inn (12, 13, 840, 843)
🐶 Dogs are welcome
🍺 After the walk, we can head for a drink at the Fox & Roman or Cross Keys
