Description:

We head out from the car park through Greenhow Plantation, passing the 3 Witches Oak to the base of Ingleby Incline. We climb up the incline to meet the Cleveland Way at Bloworth Crossing.

We follow the Cleveland Way passing the mysterious Hand and Face stones and popping up to bag the Round Hill trig point (highest point on the North York Moors).

Then make our way over Urra Moor, following the edge of the moor back to Clay Bank.

This walk is mostly on good tracks and dog friendly 🐶 and hopefully the heather will be in full bloom 🤞

🅿️ car park at Clay Bank (B1257 between Stokesley and Chop Gate), costs £5 per day - card payment only

🥪 you will need to bring a packed lunch

🍺 after the walk, there may be a chance to go for a drink at the Buck Inn, in Chop Gate
