Description:
We Head out of Burnsall then pick up a path up onto Barden Moor, we pass Upper Barden Reservoir and briefly join a bridleway that takes us over to Rylstone Fell. We follow the edge of the Moor passing Rylstone cross and the memorial obelisk. Taking in the sweeping views until we descend down into the pretty village of Thorpe, from there we head on crossing the River Wharfe picking up the Dales Way back to Burnsall.Â
I am hoping that the heather will be in full bloom for this walk.
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted on Barden Moor.
