Description: From South Cave we follow a predominently woodland route with a steady climb along the western side of Little Wold and on into East Dale up to e B1230, close to High Hunsley. We then go down into Swine Dale following the peaceful dale with it's mixture of arable and grass and on to Newbald Wold and Arras Wold in the shadow of large wind turbines. Taking care, we cross the busy A1079 through Arras and head west where we meet the old Beverley to York Railway Line, now part the of the YWW and also The Hudson Way. Watch out for the wishing tree. This path follows Spring Dale and Mill Beck, back into Market Weighton.
The route is mainly woodland and arable land. Please observe special notices and put your dog on its lead where there is a risk to wildlife or if livestock is present.
