Meeting Point: South House Farm, Mill Bank, Fylingthorpe, Whitby YO22 4UQ - we'll meet next to the donations box in the main car park.
Public Transport: n/a
Parking: Immediately next to South House Farm, there is a car park, where we shall meet. Often this area does get full, but people can park further along the road on the grass verge if necessary. There is no parking fee however there is a donations box to help maintain the car park and the local area, so I would ask that every vehicle donates at least £1 so that walkers like ourselves can continue to enjoy the same walk for years to come.
Description: The walk, for the most part is, is moderate, but the first mile and the last mile will be quite hard due to upward steps followed by downward steps more than once. The beginning of the walk, we will have nice views over Robin Hoods Bay and will shortly enter the village itself, where there will be a steep incline up and out of the village. We will reach a point sooner after where there are stunning surrounding views of the whole area. We follow the pat, where we will be able to see Whitby Abbey in the distance, until we reach the cliff edge where we will have lunch. We'll then follow the Cleveland's way back in to Robin Hoods Bay, back down in to the village, where there's an opportunity to buy a nice ice cream, before returning along the same stint that we entered the village from earlier on, except this time with views looking south from Robin Hoods Bay.
