Meet at Fairburn primary school (postcode WF11 9JY), where there is free on-street parking.
We have changed the meeting point to Fairburn primary school because of the snow. When we get there, we will take a view as to whether the road to the nature reserve is passable or whether to walk from the village instead.
This is a short but interesting, walk around Fairburn Ings RSPB reserve. We will make use of the reserve's riverside trail which includes woodland walking, and passes wetlands where you might spot some interesting waterfowl. The walk is easy-going, and afterwards we will visit one of the excellent local pubs.
