For this year's traditional Scottish Easter break GYBO are heading to Pitlochry.
Final walks are yet to be decided but we wanted to make sure that walkers of all abilities could attend this weekend. With this in mind, Andy and Cath have very kindly offered to lead walks to cater for both the hard-core element and those who prefer a more gentle way of life.
We have booked the hostel for 3 nights from 22nd to 24th April, and it costs £54 per person. To attend this weekend you must be a fully paid-up member of the Ramblers.
The hostel is located close to the town centre but with views over lochs, hills and woodland. For those of you not familiar with Pitlochry, it is a small bustling town, centrally located and easily accessible with plenty of activities going on and ideally suited for hill-walking – see http://www.pitlochry.org for information on what is available.
Whilst we do want to encourage all members to attend this weekend please bear in mind that walking in Scotland does tend to be more strenuous than walking either down here or in the Lake District and the days are likely to be longer than normal group walks.
If you would like to book a place on this weekend or would like any other information please message Kelly on facebook or email her at info@gybo.org.uk.

Photos show the general area around Pitlochry and not necessarily the walks that we will be doing.
They also show sunnier weather than you can reasonably expect in Scotland in April. Don't say we didn't warn you.
