The first half of our Scarborough weekend takes us from the steep and pretty fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay over the clifftops past Boggle Hole, Ravenscar, Hayburn Wyke and Scalby Mills, ending at the front in Scarborough, for ice creams, donkey rides and sandcastles. This walk features several short, steep climbs.
Meet at the bus stops in front of Scarborough railway station at 0930, in time to get the 0940 93 bus to Robin Hood's Bay - it will cost £4.20, so if you can bring the right change that will help. If you don't want to join us on the bus, meet in Robin Hood's Bay at the roundabout at the top of the steep hill by 1020. If you are staying at Scarborough Youth Hostel, you can walk 1 mile to Scalby and join us on the bus at 0949, or get a bus from Cross Lane to the town centre and meet us at the station.
If you are driving to Scarborough, you can contact Heather for advice on where to park.
