Meet at the main car park in Goathland, to start the walk at 10.30. Parking costs £2.20.
Please note the dogs will not be able to come on this walk, as they are not permitted on some sections of moorland.
The path alongside the beck has some rough, rocky sections and the woodland can be boggy, there are some steep inclines. Hopefully the route will not be beseiged by snow, ice and floods as it was when we tried it in January!
The walk follows West Beck's wooded gorge and includes two waterfalls, woodland, a Roman Road, the line of an infamous railway incline and magnificent views across the moorland.
