Meet at the car park on B6451, about half a mile north of the Lindley Wood Reservoir, near the top of the hill. On the bus timetable, it's between Otley and Bland Hill.
A 12 mile walk in the Washburn Valley taking in forests, farmland, flat paths alongside the reservoir and an opportunity to play Poohsticks. We set off through Stainburn Forest up to Little Alms Cliff, then across Lindley Moor, before curving down through farmland and a lunch stop to the edge of Lindley Wood Reservoir. We walk along one side and then cross over to the other, before climbing Jack Hill and returning to the start through Stainburn Forest.
There are a few short but steep climbs, and some paths may be very muddy. If the weather is kind, there will be good views south to The Chevin and north to Forest Moor.
