This is a joint walk between GYBO and Take a Hike, the Leeds and Bradford young people's walking group, and should prove to be a challenge for the Bank Holiday weekend!
Meet at Langsett Barn car park. We start walking at Langsett Reservoir, we will head south along Mickleden Edge and on to Cut Gate where views of Bleaklow and the hills surrounding Edale can be observed.
We will then descend Howden Moor to Howden Reservoir for lunch and then on to the Howden Dam-wall connecting it with Derwent. Our return route is via Nether Hey, Howden Edge and the bizarrely named "North America".
