Meet at The Square, Market Weighton, opposite the Bay Horse pub. Travel by bus from York, Pocklington, Hull or Beverley, or use one of the nearby pay and display car parks in the town centre.
From Market Weighton the walk follows the Wolds Way to the delightful little village of Londesborough, then on to another pretty village, Goodmanham, where we will stop for lunch at the picnic area. We will then follow a disused railway track back to the starting point where we will visit one of the pubs/cafés in Market Weighton for a drink.
The walk features an ancient monument, great views, a church, toilets, cafés and pubs.
This walk is not recommended for dogs, due to several stiles and cattle grids, and lots of cattle.
