The 181 bus runs right to the village, the 845 stops at Welburn Lodge on the A64, which is about a mile away (you can walk it or flag down the 181 or any GYBO walkers as they come past!).

Parking is available on the village main street but may be limited. Please show consideration for residents when parking, and car-share where possible.

This walk passes through the Howardian Hills, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, and takes in the villages of Bulmer, Terrington, Coneysthorpe, and the grounds of Castle Howard. The walk will predominantly be through farmland and along country lanes, and is mainly flat with a couple of short climbs.
