Yes, we're a walking club, but we also like to have a good time!
Usually after a walk, we go to a nearby pub for a drink or two, but we also like to meet up with each other for a drink when we aren't clad in muddy walking clothes and a long way from home.
York socials: every month!
Once a month, we meet at Brigantes. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a member of the club or have come on any of our walks - some people like to meet us for a social before coming on a walk.
Where? Brigantes, Micklegate, York, YO1 6JX
When? 8pm onwards, on the third Wednesday of every month. (To save you working that out, see the list below):

- Wednesday 16 May
- and so on…
Meals and other events
From time to time, we do something a bit different. Sometimes we go for a meal, or do other things like bowling or ice-skating.
These events will be advertised on the website and by email. Usually they will be open to members only, and you will often need to book a place if numbers are limited. To find out more about these events, or to suggest one that you would like to see, please get in touch with us.
In recent times, we've eaten out at Ask, Toto's, Slug and Lettuce, Seraglio, Kapadokya and other places as well.
