A small and select group met at Nunnington for an easy stroll in the North Yorkshire countryside. Setting off along the banks of the River Rye, we then turned south across farmland to Stonegrave, home of the country's smallest minster. We then climbed the small rise of Caukley Bank, giving magnificent across Ryedale to the Moors in the north and the Wolds in the south. The path dropped gently down to the hamlet of West Ness, and we returned along the riverbanks to Nunnington.
