Probably the first really nice day of the year, the sun blazed out of a clear blue sky, as Bridget led us on a great walk from Pateley Bridge, taking in part of the Nidderdale Way and the Bewerley Industrial Trail, as we walked through the disused Providence Mine. The frozen ground meant we didn't get muddy, and there was still a surprising amount of snow and ice around.
