We looked out of the
bunkhouse at Abbots Farm in Goathland praying that the previous day's rain
had subsided. Fortunately it had. We set of with tired limbs and
damp boots from the previous days walk. The views were breath taking
however we were not aware how much ascent and descent we had to do! As
we finally headed away from the North York Moors Railway we met up with
another group who were also doing the Inn Way.
We eventually made it to Lealholm and
descended on the small tea shop for well earned food and drink. As we
sat inside the heavens opened again. The GYBO'ers were relieved. No
more walking this weekend. |
